I am Mona. I paint watercolour pictures of lonely people on the computer. Because I'm one of them myself. And because there's no point in painting the sun any more... nobody looks at it anyway. In Germany, where I am at the moment, people are online between 62 and 82 hours a week. So I don't have to be a hacker to lose sleep, to lose touch with reality. Maybe you have to be clever to find it again. Or you just paint people on computers. That's what I do. - This page is a call to join in.
If you have a story of your own about your computer, something that happened to you while scrolling all night, an internet fairy tale or nightmare - then write to me and I'll paint a painting to go with it. A portrait of your computer with another object you like is also possible. Whether you urgently need a break from the screen or never want to stop staring at it - I'll be happy to paint it.
